How to get to El Nido Palawan from Puerto Princesa Airport, Palawan Philippines

           El Nido is a town located in the northern part of Palawan. It is famous for white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, snorkeling & diving sites, beautiful limestone cliffs and the EL Nido Soup made out of bird's nest. 

       There is no international airport that goes directly to El Nido. You can book a flight from Manila to Puerto Princesa Airport with these airlines: Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines and Air Asia.

There are 2 ways to reach El Nido: 

 1.Via Puerto Princesa - I choose this route because of it's short time     travel comparing to Via Coron. There are many buses and vans that can take you to El Nido. Estimated travel time is 5-6 hours.

2.Via Coron - If you want to go to El Nido from Coron you can ride big boats and has estimated travel time of 8 hours.
 

        I book my ticket via Puerto Princesa Palawan with Cebu Pacific when they had their PISO SALE. One month before our flight, I called some hotels for reservation where we are going to stay and I choose The Alternative Inn because of it's unique design of their restaurant, the amazing perfect view of El Nido Bacuit Bay and it's good reviews from travelers around the world. They offer me a very convenient way of how to get to El Nido faster and much cheaper by having me reserved a seat of Eulen Joy Express for only 500 pesos one way per person. It will save your time and budget because they are just located outside the airport.

            Upon arrival at Puerto Princesa Airport, my travel buddy Gracee immediately look for the terminal of Eulen Joy Express. I paid for a round-trip ticket for the 2 of us for only 2 thousand pesos. We departed from  the airport around 11am. They tell us that that estimated travel time is 5-6 hours and we have 2 stop overs. The long road trip starts.

Note: Please bring some food and drinks because if you will eat at the stop over it is a little bit pricey.

               We arrived around 4pm at El Nido Terminal exactly 5 hours of travel time from Puerto Princesa Airport. I ask the tricycle driver to take us to The Alternative Inn  and we paid him P50. 

            Arriving at the hotel, I look for Ms. Myla the very accommodating staff. She gives us our room keys and we immediately put our things first and go to their restaurant and see the beautiful view of El Nido Bacuit Bay. They truly have the best view of El Nido Bacuit Bay.
